Situation

Banco Popular was seeking additional office space in a new, modern building. As Kislak’s existing building wasn’t suitable for their needs, Banco provided notice to vacate upon lease expiration.

Strategy

  • Conducted feasibility study on behalf of Kislak to determine if existing property could accommodate new office building
  • Obtained City of Miami Lakes feedback on the project
  • Ran construction investment projections and cost-benefit analysis
  • Got preliminary architectural rendering to present the concept and lease proposal to Banco

Results

Successfully secured Banco’s expansion into 40,000 SF of brand new built-to-suit office and met parking requirements by building a parking garage on-site.
